Inaugural Small Class in 2021

We are excited to be launching our inaugural Small Class in 2021 as part of the suite of educational offerings at Tyndale Christian School – Murray Bridge.

The small class is designed to cater for students with mild intellectual disability and/or complex learning needs. Our inaugural class will cater for eight students in Reception and Year 1. There will be a designated Small Class Teacher and Education Support Officer with the required ratio of educator to students 1:4.

We see this as an opportunity to serve our community and current students and families better by catering for those who may learn best in a highly supported learning environment. Our aim is to see all students in our School achieve at the very best level that they can.

The classroom will be in the new facility constructed at the end of 2020 construction with access to the Learning Hub and other classrooms. Specialty resources will be added to the classroom depending on the requirements of the students.

We are excited about this initiative for our school community and the wider Murray Bridge City. It puts us in the unique space of being able to cater for whole families with a wide range of educational needs for their children.
