Cows Create Careers

Our School focuses on instilling a desire for knowledge that inspires our children to create an incredible future for themselves and those around them. We’re passionate about equipping our children with knowledge and skills so they can pursue their passion in their chosen careers.

In Term 2 2021, the students participated in the SADA Fresh ‘Cows Create Careers’ programme over six weeks. Students learned about the career pathways in the dairy industry and learned from a local dairy farmer how to care of calves.

Students formed teams to complete assessments based on the dairy industry throughout the project and took care of two one-month-old calves on site for six weeks.

Congratulations to Scarlet and Breeannah for winning the competition within our school.
