Year 10 to Year 12 Course Guide
Year 10 – Year 12
Senior School provides a great platform for students to complete their full Early Learning to Year 12 experience.
Our students in Senior School, are presented with many decisions, including subject choices, career paths and how to engage as young adults in the wider social context.
SACE and strong academic outcomes that lead to tertiary study is just one option for our students’ futures. We offer a wide range of subject choices and have specialist teachers with many years of experience.
One of our School’s recognised strengths is in the transition from school to work. We provide a VET (Vocational Education Training) program, and a well-organised work placement program for all Year 10 and 11 students, as well as career information.
We have developed productive and vital relationships with a number of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), including the Murray Bridge Trade Training Centre and TAFE SA.
These working arrangements allow our students to access a wide range of Certificate II and III courses as well as Diplomas for certain courses. Students can access suitable training to suit their vocational needs.
Our Secondary Technology Centre (STC) is a state-of-the-art facility that boasts:
- Home Economics
- Technology Studies areas.
The STC has allowed our School to introduce specialist programmes including:
- Technology Studies
- Robotics and Programming
- Food and Hospitality
- and a range of Sciences including Nutrition.
With the ability to access additional resources from our campuses at Salisbury East and Strathalbyn, we’re able to offer a broad curriculum that stimulates and encourages students in their particular areas of interest.
