Year 10 to Year 12 Course Guide

Year 10 – Year 12

Senior Schooling at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge provides students with a robust and dynamic educational experience, preparing them for both higher education and their future careers. Our curriculum is designed to foster academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of community, underpinned by Christian values.

Curriculum and Subjects

At Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge, we offer a smaller, more specialised set of subjects delivered at a high quality. Our focus is on offering a consistent range of subjects year after year, ensuring that each course is continually refined and improved. While this means some options may not be available, it guarantees the excellence of the subjects we do offer. Our curriculum is aligned with the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) standards, ensuring students receive a high-quality education that meets state and national benchmarks.

Pathways and Opportunities

We are committed to providing multiple pathways for our students. Whether they aim to attend university, enter the workforce, or pursue vocational training, our school offers tailored programs to support their goals.

The SACE curriculum allows students to select subjects that align with their interests and career plans, providing flexibility and personalised learning experiences.

To supplement our specialised subject offerings, we employ a dedicated Vocational Education Officer who provides alternative options for students to explore areas of interest that may not be covered by our core subjects.

Support and Wellbeing

Student wellbeing is a priority at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge. We have a comprehensive support system that includes pastoral care, counselling services, and academic mentoring. Our dedicated staff work closely with students to ensure they are supported emotionally, socially, and academically throughout their senior years.

Christian Values and Community

As a Christian school, we integrate faith into all aspects of school life. Our values of respect, integrity, and compassion guide our interactions and decision-making. We encourage students to develop a personal relationship with God and to live out their faith in practical ways.

Parent and Community Engagement

We recognise the importance of strong partnerships between the school, parents, and the community. We actively encourage parental involvement in school activities and maintain open communication channels to ensure parents are informed and engaged in their child’s education.

BROAD CURRICULUM

With the ability to access additional resources from our campuses at Salisbury East and Strathalbyn, we’re able to offer a broad curriculum that stimulates and encourages students in their particular areas of interest.
